Promotional Partnership Beer Branding
In 2022, Vero Chicago Pizza partnered with Phoenix Rising FC and Four Peaks Brewing Company to create Vero Rising Gold, a limited-edition lager developed exclusively for Vero restaurants during our tenure as the Official Pizza Sponsor of Phoenix Rising FC.
The project required the creation of a unique visual identity that celebrated the partnership between all three brands while introducing a product that felt authentic to the culture of soccer, craft beer, and Chicago-style pizza. Drawing inspiration from vintage football club crests, supporter culture, and traditional beer branding, the identity was designed to feel both collectible and timeless.
At the center of the system is a custom crest that combines visual elements from each partner. The design incorporates Phoenix Rising's iconic flame and soccer ball, Vero Chicago Pizza's deep-dish heritage, Four Peaks Brewing Company branding, traditional football iconography, and the six-point Chicago star. These elements were brought together through detailed illustration and ornamental line work to create a mark that feels rooted in both sport and craft.
Beyond the primary crest, the project included tap handle concepts, packaging exploration, promotional materials, and environmental applications designed to support the launch and create a memorable fan experience within Vero locations.
The result was a limited-edition product that celebrated local partnerships, strengthened community engagement, and created a unique connection between supporters, craft beer enthusiasts, and pizza lovers throughout the Phoenix market.
