Daisy Desperado Daisy Desperado began as an exploratory pattern design project inspired by the bold geometry of traditional Mediterranean and Spanish tilework, reimagined through a modern western and vintage-inspired lens. The goal was to create a pattern system that felt both timeless and contemporary—something equally at home on architectural surfaces, textiles, apparel, packaging, or lifestyle products. Built around a repeating floral motif and interlocking geometric forms, the design balances symmetry, color, and texture to create a pattern that feels familiar yet distinctive. A distressed finish and warm, earthy palette were intentionally incorporated to evoke the character of aged ceramic tiles, weathered signage, and handcrafted artisan goods. Beyond the repeat pattern itself, the project explored how the artwork could be extended into a broader visual system, including apparel applications, surface design, merchandise, and branded products.
